Tailwind Jungle Lodge

Accommodations & Pricing
- The Tailwind Jungle Lodge can sleep 14 people in their own beds (up to 17 if you have couples sharing queen beds). If you are a larger group and need additional space we also have neighbors with lovely accommodations for rent (depending on availability), I’m happy to send more information about those additional house rentals if needed.  Please inquire for current rates.
- The property includes, the Casita Pumita, Casita Tejone, Palapa Tigre, Palapa Parota and the Palapa Paris, as well as a dipping pool, central dining area, lovely yoga platform (25 x 30 ft) with ocean view and a spectacular white sand beach with a special kind of therapeutic bentonite mud/clay (natural spa treatment!). Please note that hike to the beach takes 15 - 20 minutes. It’s absolutely worth it! It’s our favorite beach in the world :). Completely secluded and pristine - only accessed by foot or by water. 
- Most retreats rent the entire property, however you do have the option of renting individual accommodations if you are a smaller group. 
- You (the retreat leader), would set your own per/person rates for your retreat. When you’re ready, I have an excel spreadsheet and pdf guide to support you through this process. I am happy to customize this spreadsheet for your retreat. 
- Please note we are open Nov. 1 - June 1st. We are closed in the summer rainy season. 

 Meals & Kitchens
- You’re welcome to do your own cooking if you’d like, or you can bring your own chef. 
- We have a few excellent chefs available to cook fresh, healthy and tasty meals for your retreat. Meals are start at approx $50/person/day (USD) for delicious brunches and dinners. If you would prefer a full 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) that is also an option. Please inquire for specific rates and options. Menu requests such as raw and other special dietary needs (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.) can be accommodated. 
- All of our units have their own kitchenettes, your guests are welcome to bring along snacks from home or from the little grocery store or farmer’s market in San Pancho. Fridges can also be pre-stocked with coffee/tea, fruit & granola, upon request for an additional fee, please inquire.
- There are many excellent restaurants in the town of San Pancho, from tasty taco stands to fancy 4 star restaurants. We recommend eating at least a few meals in town.  

Adventure & Yoga
- There is SO much to explore in this area! We have amazing hiking right out the door here. Hiking is free and maps are provided, all other tours and classes are an additional fee. 
- Beach: It’s a 15-20 minute hike to a beach with healing bentonite mud/clay! (great for the skin, natural spa). 
- Ocean adventure: Surfing, SUP and sailing are wonderful ways to explore, you can read more about our adventure tours at www.tailwindjunglelodge.com 
- Massage is also available by request. We have a few excellent masseuses available. Massage table is also available if you’d like to bring a masseuse with you, or do your own treatments. 
- A variety of local yoga teachers are available if you need. Prices vary each season, please inquire. 
- Singing bowls, reiki, temazcal (sweat lodge) and other special healing services are available.* Please inquire for current pricing and availability. 
- Other unique experiences include bird watching and orchid plantation tour. Please inquire.

Community 
- San Pancho has an incredible community center! The founder, Nicole Swedlow, received an award from the Dalai Lama as “Wisdom in Action.” We encourage your retreat guests to visit and/or get involved by bringing donations with you (school supplies, clothing, monetary donations, etc.) or volunteering a few hours during their stay. - Farmer’s markets on Tuesdays in San Pancho & Fridays in Sayulita. Definitely worth checking out! 

Transportation
- Airport transportation from the Puerto Vallarta International airport (PVR) is available via taxi service (8 passenger vans, $250 - $300 USD roundtrip to/from the airport). Taxi service can be arranged through Diva Tours, www.divatours.net. Alternatively, rental cars or a group van are also an option (simple and affordable). 
- We are located approx. 3 miles north of the town of San Pancho (10 minute drive). If your guests are feeling energetic, it’s about an hour walk on the jungle road into town (it’s a lovely walk) . Taxi service is also available to get in/out of town. Renting cars gives you more freedom to explore. It’s about a 20 minute taxi ride from the lodge to Sayulita. Many guests spend an afternoon in Sayulita, though most prefer San Pancho (it’s a bit more laid back…less hectic!). 

 Reservation
- Retreats should reserve well in advance to ensure availability. Payments can be made via credit card (via paypal) or by bank transfer. We require a 25% reservation deposit. A 2nd deposit of 25% is due 3 months prior. A final deposit of 50% is due 1 month prior. When you have chosen dates and are officially ready to reserve I will put together your retreat agreement with the details of your reservation.
