A SIMPLY STUNNING YOGA SPACE
The shala is a small distance away from the main communal areas and guest villas so it’s the perfect place to hold workshops, practice yoga or meditate in uninterrupted peace and quiet. The floor space is shaded and is a generous 80 sqm allowing 20 people to comfortably lay their mats down
MASSAGE OR MEDITATE
On the estates gracious and immaculately kept grounds, guests can enjoy seclusion in one of two meditation pavilions or a massage in the third pavilion.

Our chefs are fantastic and aim to please. Our aim is to offer you the culinary experience of true Greek cuisine the country is so famous for. We showcase only the very best of Greek and Mediterranean homestyle cooking by using local and organic produce wherever possible and the abundant choice of vegetables locally grown. All meals are served buffet style for guests to help themselves. There is a drinks station which has infused water, regular water, tea and a variety of milks available throughout the day. Filter coffee and freshly squeezed juice is served at the breakfast buffet only. Catering is charged per head / per day with a minimum of 10 guests and we offer only full board options. We have two menu choices:

There are many hikes to be enjoyed from the retreat, one of which is to the Nidri Waterfall, the perfect place to swim in icy cool water. We can also recommend walks with guides who showcase the islands fauna and flora, herbs and wild flowers.
Our chef and his team offer cooking demos where you can learn to perfect some classic Greek dishes.
Mimosa Rereat works with several recommeded boating companies where guest can enjoy full or half day cruises enjoying the island and its stunning beaches from the water.
Lefkada has some very nice wineries or farm-to-plate bio farms which are always enjoyable to a visit.

Cleaning
All rooms and common areas are cleaned daily with the exception of Sundays
Pool Towels:
A pool towel will be provided for every guest. They are changed once during a week long stay, and once during a 5-night stay.
Linen:
In an attempt to reduce our environmental footprint, linen, bath and pool towels are changed once per 7-night stay. Anything under 7 nights, will be addressed on an individual needs-must bases.
The accommodation is set amongst beautiful lush foliage and ancient olive trees. It nestles discreetly against the mountainside boasting stunning views of the many small islands dotted in the Ionian Sea.
The property itself comprises of the main house which consists of a fully fitted kitchen, living room, dining room and TV room. To compliment the main house we have our luxury master villa and four guest villas.
A total of 20 guests can be accommodated in 10 bedrooms across the 5 villas.
All the bedroom villas at Mimosa Retreat Centre have an air-conditioning unit which doubles up as heating, WIFI, a communal drinks fridge, a kettle and a hairdryer. Bath and pool towels are provided. We gift our toiletries which are all sourced in Greece. The bedrooms are cleaned daily bar Sundays. If anybody has mobility restrictions we do not recommend Lotus or Shiva villas.

Mimosa Retreat is situated on Lefkada Island, Greece. Visitors can travel to Lefkada by plane or by car as the island is connected to the mainland of Greece with a bridge. MAP COORDINATES: 38°43′11″N 20°43′02.9″E
The closest airport is Aktion Airport (PVK) which is a 40 – 45 minute drive from Mimosa Retreat.
Umgebung
For the more active guest there is plenty of opportunity to stroll through the multilevel grounds enjoying the lush gardens and the shade of the olive trees. During any spare time, guests can take a 20 minute walk to the ideally located, lively town of Nydri. Here guests can experience a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and water sports. Perigiali Beach can also be accessed easily from the property, either a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away.
