7 Day Wild Presence Botswana Mindfulness Safari Retreat with David

David Jimenez Calvo

Wild Presence is a one of a kind journey designed for those who feel called to meet the wild not as spectators, but as participants.

Held in the heart of Botswana's savanna, this 7-day mindfulness safari retreat weaves close encounters with wildlife, river and land journeys, yoga, breathwork, and ceremonial integration into a deeply embodied experience.

More than chasing adrenaline or ticking destinations, it's about slowing down enough to feel, listen, and remember what the land awakens within you.

Through a carefully paced arc of safari immersion, nervous-system regulation practices, cultural exchange, and elemental ritual, you'll explore the balance of fire, water, air, and earth, both in the landscape and within yourself.

Each day invites you to soften reactivity, deepen presence, and reconnect with instinct, intuition, and clarity.

This retreat is for adventurous spirits, conscious travelers, and seekers who value depth, respect for culture, and real human connection, a space to recalibrate, rewild gently, and return home with a steadier nervous system and a clearer inner compass.

Catering

Nourishment is an essential part of the experience.

Each day, you’ll enjoy three thoughtfully prepared meals made with care by the local culinary team, using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the region whenever possible.

The menu is designed to support steady energy, digestion, and emotional balance, allowing your body to stay grounded and resilient through early mornings, wildlife excursions, and deep inner work.

Food here is approached with respect and simplicity.

Meals become moments to slow down, gather, and reconnect, with yourself, with others, and with the land that provides them.

Shared around the table, nourishment becomes part of the integration: a chance to reflect, listen, and savor without rush.

You will be here

Munga Plains

Munga Plains, Kavimba, Lot 4201, None Chobe, South Africa

This sanctuary is a space designed to reconnect you with the wild while still offering comfort, safety, and quiet. Created as an eco conscious safari retreat, each tent and gathering area has its own atmosphere, shaped by acacia shade, open sky, and the sound of the bush.

Here, the African plains hold you. Wide horizons stretch out from the pool, decks, fire circle, and open air yoga shala, with elephants, antelope, and birdlife often in view. Silence has texture out here, broken only by wind in the grass and distant calls that remind you where you are.

Set on the edge of Chobe National Park yet far from crowds, it is an ideal place to step away from routine, listen deeply, and let the pace of the land guide your reset.
