What happened to Tripaneer?
Tripaneer B.V., the company behind BookYogaRetreats, BookYogaTeacherTraining, BookSurfCamps, BookHorseRidingHolidays and BookAllSafaris, was declared bankrupt by the District Court of Amsterdam on 1 October 2026. The trustee mr. V.G.M. Leferink (Addleshaw Goddard) now controls its money, websites and contracts.
For hosts this means: deposits that BookYogaRetreats would only have paid out after your guests arrived are now held by the bankrupt company. Whether and when the platform will continue is unclear.

What hosts should do now
The key steps for retreat leaders and retreat centres who sold through BookYogaRetreats or one of its sister sites.
Back up your content
Save the texts, photos, programmes and teacher bios of your retreats now. Whether the sites stay online is up to the trustee.
Contact your upcoming guests
Start with the next arrivals. Your guests’ deposits are usually still held by the bankrupt company. Agree with each guest how to proceed and put any new payment arrangement in writing.
File your outstanding payouts as a claim
You can file unpaid deposits with the trustee for free via the ClaimsAgent portal (claimsagent.nl). Have your partner agreement, booking list and amounts owed ready – ideally well before the creditors’ meeting on 9 December 2026.
Stop accepting new bookings via Tripaneer
New bookings may never be paid out. Block your dates or deactivate your listings in the partner dashboard until the situation is clear.
Build new booking channels
To keep filling your retreats, you need other channels now. That is exactly where we help – with a free migration service.
