Reclaim Your Wild. Redesign Your Life.

The Shift is an intimate safari retreat in South Africa for women who feel a quiet — or undeniable — pull toward something more.

Set deep within the Greater Kruger region, this retreat is designed as a pause from the noise of everyday life and an invitation back to your inner knowing. Surrounded by vast landscapes, wildlife, and open skies, you are given the space to step out of autopilot and into presence.

Over eight days, you will be guided through a carefully curated blend of yoga, meditation, mindset work, and embodied reflection, balanced with safari drives, creative expression, nourishing food, and spacious downtime. The rhythm of the days follows nature — slow mornings, expansive afternoons, and grounding evenings — allowing insights to land gently rather than being forced.

This is not a retreat about fixing yourself or becoming someone new.
It is about remembering what has always been there beneath the layers of expectation, self-doubt, and constant responsibility.

The African wilderness plays an essential role in this journey. Watching elephants move with certainty, listening to the land at dawn, and witnessing life unfold without urgency naturally shifts perspective. What once felt complicated becomes clear. What felt heavy begins to soften.

The Shift is for women who are ready to listen to themselves again.
Women who know they are standing at the edge of a new chapter — personally, professionally, or both — and want to step forward with confidence, self-trust, and clarity.

You will leave feeling grounded, expanded, and deeply connected to yourself — not because life has been mapped out for you, but because you remember how to trust your own inner compass.

This is not a holiday.
It is a homecoming.

Highlights

The Shift is shaped by experiences that gently pull you out of routine and back into presence. Set within the Greater Kruger region, the retreat unfolds in rhythm with the land — where each day offers both stillness and expansion.

One of the defining highlights is the safari experience itself. Sunrise and sunset game drives take you deep into protected wilderness, guided by experienced rangers who understand the land intimately. Watching elephants move through the bush, spotting lions at dusk, or sitting quietly as the sun rises creates moments of perspective that no workshop ever could. Nature becomes the teacher.

Your days are grounded by daily yoga, meditation, and breathwork, suitable for all levels and designed to support nervous system regulation, embodiment, and clarity. These practices are not performance-based, but restorative and intuitive — inviting you to reconnect with your body and inner rhythm.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll take part in guided mindset and life-design sessions, blending reflective inquiry with practical insight. These sessions are spacious and conversational, allowing clarity to emerge naturally rather than being forced. Many women experience powerful realisations simply through slowing down and being held in the right environment.

A unique highlight is the Panorama Route day excursion, one of South Africa’s most scenic landscapes. Vast viewpoints, dramatic terrain, and open horizons offer a literal and emotional shift in perspective — often mirroring internal change.

The retreat also includes creative and grounding experiences, such as an art class with the lodge’s in-house artist and a signature grounding foot ritual. These moments invite you out of your head and back into your senses, supporting integration and deeper self-connection.

Nourishment plays a central role. All meals are included, featuring seasonal, plant-based cuisine prepared in collaboration with Eat to Thrive Consultancy. Meals are shared slowly, often overlooking the bush, supporting both physical nourishment and connection.

Finally, one of the most meaningful highlights is the intimate group setting. With a small group of like-hearted women, the retreat fosters deep conversations, safety, laughter, and a sense of belonging — without pressure to perform or share more than feels right.

Together, these experiences create something rare:
space to think clearly, feel deeply, and reconnect with the part of you that already knows the way forward.

Schedule

The schedule of The Shift is intentionally designed around the natural rhythm of the African bush rather than rigid timetables. Days are structured enough to feel held and guided, yet spacious enough to allow rest, reflection, and spontaneity.

Most mornings begin early, in tune with the land. Some days start with a sunrise safari drive, when the wilderness is at its most alive. Other mornings begin quietly with tea, journaling, or gentle movement before gathering for yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Mornings are unhurried, grounding, and focused on presence.

After practice, a nourishing breakfast is shared at the lodge, followed by slower-paced late mornings. This time is dedicated to guided mindset sessions, reflection, journaling, or creative experiences, balanced with free time to rest by the pool, enjoy the sauna, or simply sit in stillness.

Lunch is enjoyed together, after which the afternoons remain intentionally spacious. This is time for integration — naps, quiet conversations, nature walks, or optional personal reflection. On one of the days, the group ventures out for the Panorama Route excursion, offering a change of scenery and a powerful shift in perspective.

As the day cools, the energy begins to turn outward again. On select afternoons, guests head out for sunset safari drives, followed by a return to the lodge as darkness settles over the bush.

Evenings are slow and grounding. Gentle evening practices, shared dinners, and guided reflections create a sense of closure to the day. Some nights invite conversation and connection, while others are intentionally quiet — allowing rest to take priority.

The schedule balances movement and stillness, structure and freedom. You are encouraged to participate fully, while also honouring your own energy and needs. Nothing is forced, rushed, or overfilled.

This rhythm is designed to support one thing above all else:
clarity, self-trust, and a deep sense of coming home to yourself.

Catering

Catering during The Shift is intentionally designed to support your energy, digestion, and overall sense of wellbeing — without restriction or rigidity.

All meals are included and thoughtfully prepared on-site, using seasonal, plant-based ingredients that are fresh, satisfying, and deeply nourishing. The food is simple yet abundant, focusing on whole foods that leave you feeling grounded, energised, and well cared for throughout the retreat.

Meals are enjoyed slowly and communally, often overlooking the surrounding bush. This shared rhythm of eating becomes part of the experience — encouraging presence, connection, and ease rather than rushed or distracted meals.

Breakfasts are light yet sustaining, supporting early mornings and movement practices. Lunches are balanced and nourishing, designed to refuel without heaviness. Dinners are grounding and comforting, offering closure to the day and supporting restful sleep.

Herbal teas, water, and non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the day. Alcohol is intentionally excluded to support clarity, rest, and nervous system regulation during the retreat.

Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice, ensuring you feel safe, supported, and fully nourished during your stay.

Food at The Shift is not about detoxing, discipline, or perfection.
It is about nourishment that supports presence, vitality, and the deeper work of listening to yourself again.
